The Bina Hukum Lingkungan (BHL) is committed to promoting global dissemination of legal knowledge by adhering to the principles of open access. All published articles are freely available to everyone without charge or access restrictions.

1. Copyright Ownership

Authors retain full copyright over their work. By submitting a manuscript, authors agree that their article, once published, will be distributed under the CC BY 4.0 license, as described in the Open Access Policy.

2. Right of First Publication

Authors grant Jurnal Bina Hukum Lingkungan the right of first publication. The Journal may publish, archive, and distribute the article in any medium and may deposit its metadata and full text with indexing services and repositories, as described in the Journal Indexation and Archiving and Digital Preservation pages.

3. Reuse by Authors

Because authors retain copyright, they may reuse, republish, or deposit their work elsewhere, for example in an institutional repository or a book chapter. When they do so, they must cite the original publication in Jurnal Bina Hukum Lingkungan, including the DOI.

4. Author Warranties

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:

• the work is original and has not been published elsewhere or submitted to another journal at the same time, as stated in the Statement of Originality;
• the work does not infringe the copyright or other rights of any third party;
• all authors have approved the submission, in accordance with the Authorship Criteria.

5. Third-Party Material

Authors must obtain permission to use images, tables, figures, maps, or other material owned by a third party, and must state its source and license clearly in the manuscript. The use of AI-generated images or other visual material is governed by the AI Policy. Authors are responsible for any claim arising from material used without permission.

6. Copyright Concerns

Anyone who believes that a published article infringes their rights may notify the Editorial Board in writing, with supporting evidence. The Journal will handle the notification in accordance with the Research Misconduct and Corrections and Retractions policies.
